Haley Hinshaw of Hillsboro was recently awarded the Rachel Gamble Memorial Scholarship through the Motlow College Foundation. The scholarship was established earlier this year in memory of Rachel Gamble, a former Motlow student and softball player who passed away in April after a brief illness.

Brandy Brown, a sophomore from Hillsboro, was recently selected as a 2018 Coca-Cola Leaders of Promise Scholar and received a $1,000 scholarship. She is one of 207 PTK members nationwide to receive the award.

Motlow State graduates to benefit from “MTSU Promise” scholarship

Administrators at Motlow State Community College and Middle Tennessee State University recently took steps to further develop the relationship between the two schools by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at Motlow’s Smyrna campus. The cooperative agreement directly benefits qualifying Motlow graduates who transfer to MTSU to obtain their bachelor’s degree.
