Motlow State’s Sid Hill, academic dean of the Moore County campus, was recently named to the Tullahoma City Schools Board of Education. Hill, whose appointment is until August 2020, was one of eight applicants for the position. “I feel wonderful about this opportunity,” said Hill, a Tullahoma High School alumnus. “I plan on doing all I can for the students of Tullahoma City Schools.” Pictured is Hill, right, as he is sworn in by James F. Conley, Tullahoma municipal court judge. School Board Chairman Pat Welsh said he and the rest of the board were looking forward to having Hill on the board. “We’re excited about him,” Welsh said. “It’s a credit to the school system that we had that quality of applicant, and we’re awfully happy to have Sid.”
