Motlow's Rashawn Fredericks named TCCAA/Region VII Player of the Year

Motlow State Community College sophomore Rashawn Fredericks was recently named the TCCAA/Region VII  regular season Player of the Year at the conference tournament held in Chattanooga. Fredericks, from Tampa, was also named first team All-Conference after averaging 17 points, 10.6 rebounds, one assist and 1.7 steals per game and leading the Bucks to the TCCAA/Region VII Tournament championship and a berth in the NJCAA national tournament. Fredericks has 946 career points, eighth all-time at Motlow, and 658 rebounds, which is third all-time. He completed a rare sweep of awards during his career after being named the TCCAA/Region VII Freshman of the Year last season.
