The Motlow State Community College Emergency Medical Services (EMS) education team recently conducted a High-Stress Simulation training session on the Motlow Fayetteville campus. Pictured above is EMS student Jonathan Southard as he participates in a realistic, high-stress simulation. This type of testing is designed to simulate what a real emergency call would feel like, and to determine if the student reverts to fundamental skills they have been trained on. The testing allows instructors to identify areas in need of improvement by the student. This type of training technique is similar to how Navy SEALS, FBI agents and other military personnel are trained.
